Who is the Senior Pastor?
Tony Scott, Senior Pastor of TheChurch on Strayer since 1974 and graduate of Lee University, is recognized nationally and internationally as a pastor, teacher, and visionary leader. Author of the books: Living A Diamond Life In A Rocky World and The Increase Life, he brings a fresh understanding to the concept of increase. Tony Scott can be seen on television across the United States, as well as internationally via streaming media on the world-wide-web.
Tony Scott has made an enormous impact on the city of Toledo. In January 2005, God fulfilled a life-long dream for the Scott’s when they received possession of a campus that houses a 120,000 sq. ft. building that sprawls over 57 acres! From this new campus, TheChurch on Strayer will touch the community, state, nation, and world by teaching the Holistic message of body, soul, and spirit.
Tony and Shirley Ann have two children: Darin lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Bronwyn and daughters Isabella and Abigail. He leads a contemporary Christian group, DayOne, which has preformed around the world. Melony and her husband Dave and daughters Olivia and Mackenzie live in Toledo. Dave and Melony serve in the ministry, and through their contacts in the international business arena, have been able to touch many lives, training and mentoring business leaders.
The Scott family has committed their lives to helping people around the world to discover their purpose and live their God-intended destiny through a simple concept – The Balanced Life.
What is a service like?
· 75 minute services.
· A relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
· Uplifting, contemporary worship.
· Relevant messages that teach the Red Letter Teachings of Jesus.
· Greeters and ushers to help you, your family, and your friends find your way around and answer any questions you might have.
· A loving, quality nursery for infants though preschool.
· Exciting service for school age children in Kidz in Action.
· There is always time for prayer.
What about my kids?
Once you arrive at TheChurch, you have the option of dropping your children off at one of the areas specifically designed for their age group. They will have a great time learning about Jesus with children their own age. The children’s programs run concurrent with each weekend service from birth to pre-school, Kindergarten through fifth grade, and Junior High.

Yes, TheChurch is a denominational church. We are affiliated with The Church of God International based in Cleveland, Tennessee with missions in over 163 countries.

There are many ways you can get involved at TheChurch. Start by getting involved in a lifegroup, which is a way to feel like part of the family by connecting to others who are learning to follow Jesus here at TheChurch?
